A Fantastic First Conference in the Final Furlong Marquee
We were thrilled to host our first conference-based event in the newly renovated Final Furlong Marquee on Thursday, 13th February 2025—and the feedback has been nothing short of amazing!
We were pleased to welcome Murphy Group; specialists in energy transition & infrastructure Engineering, as they hosted a Service Avoidance Day for employees to gain invaluable knowledge. The event focused on raising awareness about safety and minimising near misses in everyday activities.
With 160 attendees throughout the day, the event took full advantage of our expansive outdoor areas and spacious indoor setting to accommodate a very informative agenda. Indoors, attendees explored various tools and technologies used in daily operations- including an interactive VR experience demonstrating how CAT scanners detect electrical cables. Outside, they had the opportunity to observe excavators in action and practice using CAT scanners to safely locate underground electrical cables.
This event truly showcased the capabilities of the Final Furlong Marquee as a premier conference and event space, and we can’t wait to host more successful events in the future!

“The venue met all our requirements with large external areas and large internal space, sound and microphone/TVs, lighting and temperature were all ideal.
