Great Yarmouth Racecourse is a historic racing venue on the Norfolk coast.

Stunning views and a great location

This seaside location is perfect for conferences, exhibitions and parties as we have dozens of hall spaces, suites and rooms inside the Lord Nelson Grandstand complex. Outside, we have marquees and acres of green space and hard standing ideal for car or scooter rallies, food markets, drive-in movies or filming projects.

Trafalgar Suite

The Trafalgar Restaurant is situated on the first floor of the Lord Nelson Grandstand. A traditional restaurant overlooking the racetrack and parade ring it offers premier service and a temptingly tasty menu. Alternatively, this can be used as a conference space.

Victory Suite

Located on the first floor of the Lord Nelson Suite, this space offers superb views across the racecourse and is versatile enough to work across a number of events and functions. With a top capacity of 90 guests, this sizeable space is a comfortable base for your event or celebration and a great space for parties and smaller conferences

With furlongs of flexible outside space, the parking and infrastructure for handling large events, Great Yarmouth Racecourse has the capacity to stage a variety of outdoor festivals, shows and markets, corporate team building, parties, weddings and rallies.

Location

The Racecourse is situated to the north of Great Yarmouth towards Caister. From the North and Midlands the Racecourse can be reached via the A47, the main Southern approach roads are the A11 (joining the A47 South of Norwich) and the A12 via Colchester, Ipswich and Lowestoft.

Travel guidance

By Car

From the North and Midlands the Racecourse can be reached via the A47, the main Southern approach roads are the A11 (joining the A47 South of Norwich) and the A12 via Colchester, Ipswich and Lowestoft.

By Rail

Great Yarmouth railway station is approximately 1 mile from the Racecourse and serves mainline services via Norwich.

By Air

Helicopters may land (by prior arrangement with the management) at the Racecourse itself. For aeroplanes please contact Ludham Airfield, Don Sargant, on 07747 535135. www.ludhamairfield.org

Our experienced on-site coordinator can organise everything from theming, entertainment, cocktails, catering and even transport and accommodation, all at a very reasonable price.
